Licensing Terms

1. License Structure
Paid Steadfast Tools products use a hybrid licensing model combining:
- License Key: Unique identifier in the format
BSPRO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXtied to your account and subscription tier - Server Fingerprint: IP address and hostname hash binding the license to a specific server
- Heartbeat Verification: Daily check-in to
license.steadfasttools.com/verifyfor compliance
2. Subscription Tiers

3. Activation & Server Binding
Upon installation, the software records a server fingerprint (IP address + hostname hash) and binds it to your license key. Each license key can be activated on the number of servers allowed by your tier. Server changes are permitted within your tier's limits via the client dashboard.
4. License Verification
Licensed software performs a daily verification call to our licensing server. If verification fails for 7 consecutive days (e.g., server offline), the software enters a grace period. After 14 days of failed verification, some features may be restricted until connectivity is restored.
5. Transferability
Licenses are non-transferable between accounts. You may reassign a license to a different server within your tier's activation limits via the client dashboard. Server migrations (same IP) do not require reactivation.
6. Gold Founder Lifetime License
The Gold Founder lifetime license grants unlimited server activations for the lifetime of the product. "Lifetime" means the active development and support period of the product (minimum 5 years from purchase). Lifetime licenses include all minor and major version updates within the product line.
7. Free Tools
Free tools (BotSurgeon Basic, MySQL Auto-Tuner Ultimate, etc.) are provided under permissive licenses. No license key or server verification is required. Refer to each tool's LICENSE or README file for specific terms.
8. Termination & Revocation
We reserve the right to revoke licenses in cases of:
- Violation of the Terms of Service
- License key sharing or circumvention of server fingerprinting
- Non-payment of subscription fees
- Use of the software for illegal purposes
